A 43-year-old man has threatened a social weapon to get a shotgun for an election campaign by Martin Schulz (SPD) in Unna. He was then arrested by the SEK in Werl.

The threat was thrown in a chat session from Tuesday evening to an article of an onlinemedium about the election campaign. The man would remain in custody at least until the end of the election campaign. A shot gun found the officials in his apartment but not.

Suspect "weakly intelligent and drunk"
The Dortmund police denied a media report, according to which the man counted among the "Reichsbürgern". There is currently no evidence for this, said a spokesman. According to information from the German press agency, the 43-year-old is only weakly intelligent and drinker.

The police spoke in their communication of concrete threats against Schulz. It takes such threats in social networks very seriously and will react consistently and quickly.
