IS captured 11,000 Syrian blankets

Sunday, September 10th, 2017 | World News

The terrorist "Islamic state" has apparently captured thousands of blankets in Syria. German security authorities are now looking for the stolen papers.

"According to BKA information, there are (…) a total of 11,100 Syrian blank passports with the following serial numbers in the hands of the IS," according to the documents of the Federal Criminal Police Office, which cited "Bild am Sonntag". The security authorities are looking for the passports, among other things, because there is the risk that the IS could introduce such fighters in Germany.

"The developments in connection with the refugee situation have shown that terrorist organizations make use of the possibility of injecting potential assassins or supporters undeclared to Europe and to the Federal Republic." As a rule, however, a passport which is falsified and misrepresented is used to enter illegally without further motives, such as the exercise of a terrorist attack.

Dead on air attack from IS prison
In the wake of an air strike by the US-led military coalition to a terrorist prison in Syria, human rights activists have killed at least 23 people. The attack was carried out on Saturday in the East Syrian city of Al-Bu Kamal on the border with Iraq, the Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Center reported on Sunday.

Among the victims were 18 prisoners – including ten Iraqis – and five fighters of the jihadists. The US-led alliance did not issue an opinion on this.
