Rescue is the "image of the horror"
According to police, the five people in the driving car had no chance. The saviors had offered themselves a "picture of horror".

The garbage vehicle was turned over at the edge of the village of Nagold (district of Calw) at noon. Possibly a technical defect in the garbage truck led to the accident, said a police officer.

Driver suffers shock
The 26-tonner had accelerated from an initially unknown cause coming from an industrial area on the turn and then was upset. The driver of the truck, who was on the road to the local waste management company, and his passenger were easily injured. The driver suffered a severe shock. Both were taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure.

Landesstrasse 361 between Nagold and M├Âtzingen was closed. Fire brigades and rescue teams were deployed with a large squad and helicopters. About one and a half hours after the accident, a crane was able to set up the garbage truck. The city of Nagold in the county of Calw has about 22,000 inhabitants.
