Hitler-Glocke: Herxheimer mayor threatens party closure

Monday, September 4th, 2017 | World News

According to relativistic statements about Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime, the mayor of the Palatinate community of Herxheim on the mountain now threatens the party conclusion.

Ronald Becker of the Free Voters had said in the TV report of a 1934 bell with a crosshitch emblem in the local church tower that one was proud to have a bell with this inscription. He added that with Hitler's name would be "always equal to the persecution of Jews and the times of war".

"If you report on such things, you should report extensively," demanded Becker. "That they were said to be the atrocities and they were also things that he initiated and which we still use today." The vice-chairman of the free voters in Rhineland-Palatinate, Manfred Petry, said that they were appalled by the statements. This transfiguration of crimes of the Naziregimes was "Hanebüchen".

"It is, of course, indispensable that we should be advised on disciplinary measures within the parties, right up to the end of the party," Petry said. This was first reported by Südwestrundfunk (SWR). Mayor Becker was initially unable to reach an opinion on the weekend.
