25 suspected IS members were arrested in Istanbul. The official news agency Anadolu reports that three of the suspects are high-ranking cadres of terrorism.

Warrants against members of the Gülen movement
In addition, according to Anadolu, the authorities issued arrest warrants against 63 persons for alleged connections to the Gülen movement. In 21 provinces the police were arrested for the execution of the arrest warrants. Among the accused are also former members of the secret service MIT. The government accuses Fethullah Gülen, a preacher living in the US, of being the mastermind of the coup attempt of July 2016. Gülen rejects this.

So far, more than 50,000 people have been imprisoned for suspected links to the Gülen movement, and about 150,000 have been released or suspended from public service and private companies.
